


The "tool gun" is a multi-purpose item for tasks such as welding and constraining props together, and altering the facial expressions of ragdolls. The individual limbs of ragdolls can also be manipulated. Using the "physics gun", ragdolls and props can be picked up, rotated, and frozen in place. The player is able to spawn non-player characters, ragdolls, and props, and interact with them by various means. Garry's Mod is a physics-based sandbox game that, in its base game mode, has no set objectives. So if you have Garry's Mod but haven't tried this little gem out yet I suggest you give it a go.The player character (right) positioning characters from Team Fortress 2 on a couch using the physics gun It's a fun time with a few friends together, but can sill be enjoyed alone. However, the adrenaline of having a Hunter search around the room you're set up in is cool, or you running for your life, frantically switching into different props to try and escape a hail of machine gun fire is a crazy load of fun, I will admit.

On your own, still pretty fun, though I hope you're able to text people while you're hiding in a good spot because staring at the screen and not moving for 5 minutes isn't exactly the most exciting thing ever. So that's the idea, but what do I think? Well, the game is fun. Think of it like Spot the Difference if it was 3D, bigger and you shot the differences with an assault rifle. You need to take it slow, explore room by room and try to find all the Props. So, you can't just go around shooting everything you see. Problem is, every time you shoot an object that ISN'T a sneaky Prop, you lose health. You have 5 minutes to find all the props on the map. Now, as a Hunter, it's a little different. You then turn into that object and must blend in with your surroundings to hide from the Hunters. The aim of the game is rather simple.Īs a "Prop" your job is to quickly run, find an object like a cup, a box or a wardrobe. Prop Hunt is a simple game mode for the infamous Garry's Mod.
